Klara Piechocki was born in a little village in Wales, as Susan Klara Andrews. She relinquished Susan as early as she could in favour of Klara. However, if you yell 'Susie' at her, as her mother often does, Klara will still turn her head. Klara lived in Wales with her parents and brother until she was 4. Her father was an ex-sailor turned mechanic and truck/bus driver. Her mother is a very intelligent woman who loves horses and has formidable grammar. Klara's parents divorced when she was 4, and she and her older brother were raised by her father first, and later by their mother. When Klara was young, she loved horses, My Little Ponies, jet planes, boy's BMX bikes, Transformers, singing, drawing and writing. Klara's first career ambition was to be a jet fighter pilot with a motorbike like Tom Cruise in Top Gun. She gave up this ambition because Air Cadets seemed both boring and sexist. She then considered being an English teacher. Later on, she was on the verge of going to do French at University, before *cough* deliberatley *cough* failing her French A level. (...Je ne regrette rien.) Klara loves horses, and owned a horse called Teddy when she was 15, and looked after many others until she became too busy with school exams. Klara intends to have horses again in the future.
